Since his early childhood years in Oklahoma, Michael's unique artistic talent was evident. He excelled in his early school art classes and expanded his training by taking private oil painting classes.
He studied interior architecture at the nationally recognized program at Kansas State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Interior Architecture with honors in 1982. It was there he discovered architectural illustration as a fusion of design and art. There he learned many hand rendering techniques he uses today.
His career took off as a designer and illustrator, working in top firms in Dallas, San Francisco and Atlanta, including 20 years with hospitality design giant Hirsch Bedner Associates, working on luxury hotel and residential projects around the globe.
Michael currently works out of his studio in Atlanta, specializing in professional hand renderings, working with clients across the United States.
